7-mode/HA pair/V-Series : Aggregates : Configuring aggregates : Deleting an aggregate

Deleting an aggregate
You can delete aggregates and return the space that they had used to their containing volumes. However, you cannot delete the root aggregate because it contains the root volume, which contains the system configuration information. You can delete an aggregate only if its status is offline.
Steps
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Click Storage > Aggregates.
3.
Select one or more aggregates that are offline and click Delete.
4.
Select the check box and click Delete.
